Education Equals Hope (e=h)
The Hill Country Boil event is a fundraiser for Education Equals Hope's program in Costa Rica. Dedicated to helping children completed their primary and secondary educations through scholarships and mentoring programs, Education Equals Hope is an organization close to our hearts.
This year the funds raised at the Hill Country Boil will be used to support the education of children in poverty in San Ramon de Alajuela, Costa Rica. Children from poverty-stricken families in Costa Rica need school supplies, uniforms and shoes in order to attend public school. This volunteer-run scholarship program, now in its sixth year, is currently providing help in the form of educational scholarships to 23 students in Costa Rica. With your help, we can continue to raise the funds to keep those students on track to graduate high school.
The Mission
e=h's mission is to provide for the education of students in desperate and difficult situations. We are bringing hope to over 2,000 students in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Haiti, Rwanda, Kenya, Madagascar and Uganda by providing educational resources and support, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty, and impact the next generation.
